Privacy Policy

The short version

• Your uploads and results are stored for 7 days, then deleted automatically. You can delete them sooner from My videos.
• We use your video only to process the job you asked for. We do not use it to train models, and we do not sell it.
• To render, your video segments are sent to our GPU provider (Replicate, Inc., United States) and deleted there after processing.
• Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

What we collect

1. Account details — your email address and name, and a password hash if you sign up with email, or your basic profile if you sign in with Google.
2. Videos and selections — the files you upload, the boxes and time ranges you choose, the preview frames, and the rendered result.
3. Billing records — what you bought, when, the amount, and your credit balance and usage. Card details stay with Stripe.
4. Technical data — IP address (stored as a one-way hash for abuse limits), browser type, and the pages you visit.
5. Cookies — a session cookie when you sign in, an anonymous cookie that lets you return to an upload made before signing in, a language preference, and analytics cookies if you allow them.

Why we use it

• To run the service: read your video, find text, render the result and let you download it.
• To charge for renders and refund failed ones.
• To prevent abuse, such as automated uploads or free-preview farming (Cloudflare Turnstile checks anonymous uploads).
• To answer support requests and send messages about your account or purchases.
• To understand which pages and features are used, in aggregate.

Who processes your data

• Cloudflare — Hosting, storage of uploads and results, bot checks (Global)
• Replicate — GPU inference on video segments during a render (United States)
• Stripe — Payments and invoices (Global)
• Google — Sign-in with Google, if you choose it; analytics, if enabled (Global)

Each provider processes data on our behalf under its own terms and privacy policy.

How long we keep it

• Uploaded videos, preview frames and rendered videos: 7 days from upload, then deleted from storage.
• Job records (file name, duration, status, credits charged): kept while your account exists, for billing and support.
• Account and billing records: kept while your account exists and as long as tax and accounting law requires afterwards.

Your choices and rights

You can delete any video from My videos, delete your account from Settings, and ask us for a copy of your data or to correct or erase it. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may have further rights, including objecting to processing and complaining to a data protection authority. Write to support@erasevideoai.com and we will reply within 30 days.

Children

EraseVideo AI is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell signed-in users by email.
