Box it, preview it, render it.
Erase video overlays and objects without re-editing your project. Only the boxed pixels change. Resolution and audio come back as you uploaded them.

Unretouched output from our pipeline — drag the pink playhead to compare. Footage: Tianwang Xiao / Pexels. Subtitles added by us, then removed by our pipeline.
Upload an MP4, MOV or WebM file up to 10 minutes and 800 MB. The tool detects lines of text and proposes boxes, and you can draw your own. Text boxes rebuild just the letters and outline. Object boxes rebuild the whole area. Nothing is erased unless you tick it.
The rebuilt area is pasted into your original frames, so the rest of the picture is untouched: the average change outside the mask is under 2/255 in our measurements. You get the same resolution you uploaded and the original audio. Clips are rendered in six-second segments in parallel, with 8-frame crossfades at the joins.
Standard costs 1 credit per second and rebuilds at 480p before pasting back at full size. HD costs 3 credits per second and rebuilds at 720p, which is worth it for text over faces, hair, fences or other fine moving detail. Failed renders are refunded automatically, and files are deleted after 7 days.
Anything sitting on top of the picture or in the way of it: burned-in subtitles, captions and titles, stickers and emoji from editing apps, your own old logo, and things in the scene like a cable, a sign or a passer-by. It does not split layers from your edit project. It works on the finished video file, so it helps most when the original project or clean footage is gone.
Use a text box for letters: subtitles, captions, lower thirds, the lettering in a logo. It rebuilds only the letters and their outline, so the background between them stays original. Use an object box for everything else, such as stickers, logo shapes, props and people. It rebuilds the whole area inside. If a caption sits on a solid band you also want gone, use an object box that covers the band.
When you upload, the detector proposes a box for each line of burned-in text it finds. These are suggestions. Nothing is removed unless it is ticked, so text you want to keep, like a street sign in the scene, can stay. Add your own boxes for anything it misses or anything that is not text. You can use up to 24 boxes per video, each with a start and end time.
Run the free one-frame preview, which needs no account, on the hardest frame: where the box is largest or the background busiest. If the fill looks soft there, switch to HD or tighten the box. New accounts get 20 free credits, enough for a 20-second test in Standard. A failed render refunds its credits automatically, and you can delete your files right away instead of waiting 7 days.

We box every line of text for you — tick the ones to remove. Or draw a box over an object.
We rebuild the pixels behind it on every frame and hand back your video at its original resolution, with its audio.
We cut your clip into six-second segments and clean them all at once. Neighbouring segments overlap by eight frames and are crossfaded, so nothing flickers at the seams. Then only the masked pixels are pasted back onto your original.
One credit cleans one second of video. HD costs three. Failed renders refund themselves. Credits last a year. New accounts get 20 free.

A tool that removes something from the picture, such as text, a sticker or an object, and fills the area with background on every frame. EraseVideo AI does this in the browser with a free preview.
Upload the clip, keep the detected text boxes you want gone or draw your own text or object box, check the free one-frame preview, then render. You download the finished file.
MP4, MOV and WebM, up to 10 minutes and 800 MB per file. The output keeps your original resolution and audio. Uploaded and rendered files are deleted after 7 days.
Use HD when the erased area sits over faces, hair, fences or other fine moving detail, where Standard can look soft. For subtitles over plain backgrounds, Standard is usually enough.
Not for the preview. You can upload and see one rebuilt frame without signing up. Rendering the full clip needs an account, and new accounts start with 20 free credits.
